Adam Koberinski
My name is Adam Koberinski, and I am an Associate Senior Lecturer (Biträdande Universitetslektor) at Lund University, as of August 1, 2026. My research focuses on the history, methodology, and foundations of quantum field theory and early universe cosmology. I am interested in how successful theories are constructed, and how interpretive choices regarding our current best theories can shape the search for future theories.
I received my B.Sc. from University of Waterloo (2014), M.A. (2015) and Ph.D. (2019) in Philosophy of Physics from University of Western Ontario, and have worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow on the New Directions in Philosophy of Cosmology project (2019-2020), as a Heinrich Hertz Visiting Fellow at the University of Bonn (2021), a SSHRC Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Waterloo (2020-2022), a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Center for Philosophy of Science at the University of Pittsburgh (2022-2023), and finally a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Rotman Institute of Philosophy at Western University (2023-2026).
